Easy Butterscotch Using Maya Butterscotch Brownie Mix

My son, Ross, requested me to bake Butterscotch Brownie when he was craving for it. I haven't tried baking it but I was confident that it would turn out right because Maya Butterscotch Brownie Mix was there to the rescue!

I was so anxious to see his reaction while he was tasting it. He told me that it was the best Butterscotch Brownie that he tasted. It was a success! Yipeee!!!!

Ingredients

  •   1 box 500g Maya Butterscotch Brownie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine (softened)
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons water

Procedure

1. Preheat the oven to 325 F (163 C). Grease bottom of 9-inch square pan.

2. Stir Butterscotch mix, butter, and eggs until well-blended. Spread in prepared pan.

2.   Bake for 30 to 35 minutes. Cool and completely cut.

My Version

In my case, I poured the butterscotch mixture in 12 small baking cups instead of a square baking pan and baked them in an oven toaster for 20 minutes after preheating it first for 15 minutes. I inserted a fork at the center to check if they are already cooked.

NOTE: If the fork doesn't come out clean, don't bake them anymore. Just let them stay inside the oven toaster for 2 more minutes. The remaining heat will cook them until done. Cool in room temperature then serve!

My family told me that baking Butterscotch only for the first time wasn't bad at all. Everybody agreed that it was delicious! The easy to follow steps found at the back of the packaging helped. And of course, you can never go wrong with Maya Cake Mix.:)
