Super Cheesy and Creamy Lasagna with Jolly Cream of Mushroom

Weekend is the best time for us to teach our kids household chores especially Kuya who's already 10 years old. This is one of our ways to bond with them at the same time training them to be self-reliant when it comes to activities of daily living. We want them to grow up without being dependent on others in doing simple tasks. We're not going to live forever. We want them to grow up well-rounded persons who can live without a helper at home like Papa and I are used to.

Since our kids are boys, Papa always volunteers to do the household chores for them to see that it's okay for boys to be domesticated like girls. Our boys always see their Papa cook and that makes them interested in cooking too.

Just recently, Papa decided to try cooking Lasagna because Kuya requested it. It was his first time to cook it but it was delicious. It tasted more delicious in every bite because Kuya helped in the entire cooking process while Bunso and I were mere spectators. Their Lasagna was made with love actually. Seeing them having fun while preparing it made the dish more special.
Excuse us for having a messy kitchen. We're making memories here.
