Review: Squatty Potty

Last week, I was contacted by Miss Steph of Squatty Potty PH asking if I could try and test their product. I wasn’t familiar with Squatty Potty but this three-minute video was an eye opener and convinced me to say yes. 



Then I remembered when I was little, we used to stay in my mom’s ancestral home in the province. The toilet and bathroom were located outside the house. It was clear in my mind that I used to squat whenever I had the “call of nature”. Doing so wasn’t convenient for me because I grew up using the modern toilet but I could attest that moving my bowel while squatting was easier. 

Modern toilets require us to sit conveniently but research proves that natural squat position improves the ability to eliminate our waste because it promotes better elimination and may decrease many ailments including straining, bloating, constipation, and hemorrhoids.
