“If you fail to plan, you are planning to fail!”
 - Benjamin Franklin

I always keep this quote in mind as I journey through life. Failing is something inevitable for some but of course, obviously not the best option for me. Despite the digital age, I still love putting my goals into writing. It makes me inspired and more driven to achieve them. It leads me to the right track. There's no room for turning back.

Having a planner every year makes my life easier and smooth sailing as a multitasking mom. Believe it or not, I usually have two- a journal type and a desk calendar. I can't live without them!

I don't buy my planners. I always get them as presents. Obviously I have different planners annually and luckily, they suit my preference and lifestyle.

This year, Papa handed me a Moonleaf Planner 2015 which I really, really like not just because it was given by my honey but due to its functionality that fits my personality. It can also function both as a journal and a desk calendar.

I love my Moonleaf Planner 2015 due to the following reasons.

1    It is hardbound and the cover is very simple, not too fancy.

2    Its size fits a small bag and not heavy, like a regular notebook.

3    It has a space where I can write my personal information.

4     It has a summary of all Sundays of the month, Holidays in the Philippines, and dates of years 2014 to 2016.

5     On each month I can summarize all my important schedules on one page and write down all the details of my daily routines on the space provided.

6     There's so much room for note-taking.

7     Eight discount coupons are attached together with the list of Moonleaf Tea Shop branches to visit.

8     There are stickers for decorating.

There are things that I wish this planner has.

1   I have a home based business so three to four pages where I can organize my suppliers' contact list is a must.
2    I prefer it to have a slot where I can put my pen and a free pen can be nice!
3    The presence of a built-in bookmark can be very helpful.
4   There should be an envelope attached at the back of the cover where receipts and bills can be placed temporarily.
5  On the personal info page, a space where the owner's blood type, health info, physician, and persons to contact in case of emergency should be included too.

I looked on Moonleaf Tea Shop's Instagram account to check the planner's price. It costs Php350. It's reasonable for a good quality planner!

I am so excited to fill this up. I believe and claim that my new year will be a blast with Moonleaf Planner 2015 as my planning partner!

  1. It looks classy and sturdy. The planners in the malls are too heavy or too small it'll be hard to write plans and all that kind of stuff. Mommy Sj, have you tried the BDJ planner?

    1. Hi, Hazel! Thanks for stopping by! Happy new year! Yes, I agree with you although the bookstores' selections are improving already! I want to try it too. I hope that someone gives me a copy hopefully next year! You know, I'm so frugal that I make use of what is available or what is given to me. I am so lucky to get a planner or two every year. By the way, have you received your Goody Gulp prize? :)
