I admit that I only drink plain milk daily during my two pregnancies because I wanted my babies to get the calcium for their developing bones and other nutrients for proper growth that they could only get from it. Then to sustain my own and family's milk requirements now, I just incorporate it with the dishes that I cook and drinks that I take.

So about one-half of the sugar in chocolate milk is naturally-occurring lactose found in all milk. At first, my kids loved drinking chocolate milk everyday. I would allow them to take only one small tetra brick at least three times a week because I would still observe their tummies' reaction to it.
