If there is one thing that I am fixated on or can't go out without is wearing a cologne or perfume. It makes me feel confident when I know that I smell great.
Obviously, collecting perfumes is my guilty pleasure. I have at least 10 perfumes that I use alternately depending on the weather, what the occasion calls for, and my mood. It's more than enough but I am still planning to own more. It is easier for me to choose any scent that fits my body chemistry because I sell tester perfumes. Turning this passion into a business is what makes me happy and considers the endeavor into a fruitful one. I may be exposed to different branded perfumes that my best friend and I sell but that doesn't stop me from trying locally-made or locally-distributed ones.
Just recently, I got curious about Prima Parfum Collection. I am hearing raves about it from beauty bloggers. According to them, its longevity is longer and the sillage ranges from moderate to strong. Talking about longevity, it is the ability of the perfume to stay on your body or in other words, long life or existence while sillage means the degree to which a perfume's fragrance lingers in the air when worn. Aside from those two criteria, they also say that each scent smells like or even more its "inspiration scent". Well, in that case, Prima Parfum Collection is definitely promising.
Before I delve deeper into my thoughts about Amedee by Prima Parfum which is inspired by Bath & Body Works Sweet Pea, let me tell you first some points about how I look for the perfume that suits me.
I want a perfume that is safe, smells classy, fits my body chemistry, readily available locally, stays longer, and lingers in the air.

Why do I choose Amedee by Prima Parfum?
I chose to try Amedee by Prima Parfum above the other scents because I liked the smell of BBW Sweet Pea when I tried its tester in the mall. I had a chance to try and test most of the inspiration scents on the list and they didn't suit my body chemistry. Between Amedee and Serendipity, which was inspired by Paris Hilton, I decided to pick the former because I already tried and tested BBW Sweet Pea and I would like to know if Amedee would smell like it and deliver the same results. But I would also like to try the latter because my friends say that Paris Hilton smells great. I haven't smelled it yet so after checking it out, I might as well try Serendipity.
What are the things that I like about Amedee by Prima Parfum?
According to Fragrantica.com, one of the most leading and reputable perfume reviewers in the world, Body & Bath Works Sweet Pea for Women is a limited edition fragrance launched in 2007. Top notes are romantic, blending sweet pea blossoms with watery pear aromas, rhubarb, violet, plum, red apple, and bergamot. Madonna lily and orange blossom drying down to the base of musk, sandalwood, and heliotrope. Its main accords are sweet, white floral, fruity, and woody. Longevity is weak to moderate while sillage is soft to moderate. Take note that women who rated the scent in the website were 25 and up years of age. After talking about Amedee's inspiration scent, let's now move on to the Prima Parfum version:
Longevity
Amedee's strong scent's longevity is moderate which stays in my body for three to four hours. I think that's already reasonable and fine because a faint sweet scent keeps on staying on my skin after four hours. I don't mind spraying up a bit when the scent wears off. What I like about Amedee is that at first the scent tends to be very strong but fades into a very light sweet scent that is very pleasant to smell according to my husband.
Sillage
Like original Sweet Pea, Amedee's sillage is moderate. It lingers in the air for three to four hours when worn.
Body Chemistry Reaction
Amedee goes well with my body chemistry because it doesn't fade away after a few minutes and the character of its scent doesn't alter the moment it touches my skin especially when I sweat unlike most of the fruity scents that I tried in the past. It means that the ingredients fit my body chemistry well.
Price
For an oil based perfume that lasts long and is very similar to the original BBW Sweet Pea, for only ₱320, I must say that Amedee by Prima Parfum is worth trying and wearing.
Packaging
I am impressed with its packaging! It's classy, thick, and sturdy! I needed to cut the gold sticker seal before I could open the box which showed that I got a fresh item, without any tampering. Dikit na dikit talaga ang sticker seal and it was my very first time to receive an item that I couldn't remove the seal using my bare fingers. Even the bottom of the box was too difficult to open. Amazing!
I also like how easy it is to hold the bottle and use the spray. There is no leak and it's very light and handy. It can fit even a small purse which makes it convenient to carry when I travel.
